Learn how to mill your own grain for homebrewing.

The ideal crush exposes endosperm as flour and grist but leaves the husks in tact. In order to achieve this, a course crush is recommended. Your perfect crush will be consistent in size, show exposed flour and grist, and open, but intact, husks.

Always store grains in an airtight room temperature container until brew day.
