Homemade Rice Beer

Dry Yeast – 25 gms
Rice – 5 cups

1. Cook 5 cups of rice and spread it evenly.
2. Now, add 25 to 30 gms of dry yeast and mix it well with the rice.
3. Make sure yeast is mixed completely with the cooked rice.
4. Transfer the mixed rice to a air tight container and store it in a closed place for 6 days.
5. After 6 days, open it and add 2 litres of water and close it again. Store it for another 2 days.
6. Now, open it and strain with a cloth or strainer.

Now, your rice beer recipe is ready to serve.

Optional: Add sugar for taste after toddy is ready.
